Written for Ducks Unlimited Canada, Understanding Wetlands is a superb reference book for wetland info specifically targeted in the BC Interior. Author Bruno Delesalle gives insight into the relationship of existing wetland infrastructure that can be used to develop wetland managment practices . He constructs an educational picture of wetlands in a field compatible handbook for the average person, enthusiast or professional to understand and use.
The Interior Wetlands Program is a partnership between Ducks Unlimited Canada and Environment Canada. The program was initiated in 1992 as part of the Fraser River Action Plan. The Interior Wetlands Program has developed demonstration projects and has provided information to encourage the stewardship of British Columbia's Wetlands.
