More Action than Me NEW
by: mr BFSH

I hit the water at Roche just after you caught your first fish and headed down to the south end, past Electric Island. There were lots of fish in the channel but fewer at the far south weed bed.
The action was miserable. I got one fish on a small shrimp and that was it.

After the major feed period (about 1pm), I migrated back up to the Electric Island area. After 2 more hours and one bite I used the wind to drift down toward Roche Lake Resort. It's an area that I had not visited for about 10 years. The wind was too brisk for me to anchor. I dropped in to visit the folks at the lodge, stayed about a half an hour and fought my way back to the Roche West launch.

After talking with other fishermen, it seems like you had more luck this day than most. Most people had a big fat zero!

That was a lot of work for one fish... I hope the temp. cools down soon so that the fish start biting again. The water temp was still 60F.
