Pass Lake - Stingy Fishing this Fall

Due to time restraints, I have only fished 3 times so far this month and every time I made the quick trip to Pass Lake... in fact, my last fishing day in Sept was to Pass Lake too.
Although I haven't been skunked, the lake certainly has been quite stingy to this cowboy. Of the last 4 times I have been there, I have only had one multiple fish day and the fish have not measured up to the hogs that were caught earlier in the season.
It's such a lovely lake though. The last 2 times out I have virtually had the lake to myself after 4pm in the afternoon. When the winds were calm, the fish could be seen cruising the shoals... big fish too, a lot bigger than what I caught. I seemed to be catching "next years" fish as the one's I was catching were in the 16-17 inch range.
The fish seemed to be active on small damsels and scuds, especially during the solunar feed periods. I had my best luck with a blue gray scud... about a #12. KJ did well on a water boatman (maybe I should be using the pumpkinseed fly that Ron W has been using).
