FAT RAINBOWS CAUGHT IN KAMLOOPS AREA LAKES There are over 200 lakes that can be fished in the Kamloops area. Many of these fly fishing lakes are stocked with triploids (3 chromosomes) rainbow trout that skip the sexual development stage and live to eat. They grow fast and large. Some of the fish display impressive girth to length ratio's, akin to looking like a football. Here are a few "REEL BIG FISH" that the Kamloops area lakes have produced in 2010.
