Custom fly rods built by Paul Patterson using Hardy quality fly rod blanks and Sage stripping & snake guides. Crafted particularly for the BC's famous fly fishing lakes.

Paul "Tex" Patterson is an experienced fly fisherman in the BC Interior and has been building custom fly rods for 25 years. Paul likes to fly fish the Kamloops fishing lakes and also likes to hit the big rivers with his spey rod for Steelhead.

Descriptions:

"Hardy Quality" blanks:

Medium-Fast action blanks are purchased from the same supplier that Hardy uses for their rods, however there is no branding on them.

Rod Lengths:

10' or 9.5'(other sizes available upon request)

#Pieces:

2 piece blanks, 4 piece blanks available in 9'only

Blank Colors:

Dark Forest Green with Dark Green wrapping thread
Charcoal Gray with Charcoal Gray wrapping thread

Weights:

Standard #5 or #6 weights (other weights available - special order)

Custom Stenciling:

Paul will stencil your name + details or perhaps you company name + details on the rod

Handles:

Cork Handles
smooth or roughed up (for a higher friction grip)

Butts:

standard (no butt)
short butt - 2.5 inches), long butt - 3.5 inches
short or long butt is a special order... $20 extra

BASE RATE= $275.00 + optional extras + shipping (see below)

Kamloops, BC - Pick-up is free... we will let you know when the product is ready pick-up.

other shipping locations - after you fill out the questionnaire, including the shipping destination, we will give you a quote when we bill you. If you are not prepared to pay the shipping then we can just cancel the order... call us (see Question Form) if you have any questions.
