This famous Merritt Area Lake is just 12km south of Merritt, BC on paved highway. The lake is considered to be one of premier private fly fishing lakes in BC. The lake generally opens around May 1 but sometimes earlier. The highest traffic months are May and June but the lake provides reasonable fishing throughout the summer and very good fishing in the fall.
