Waiting for the ice

This year (2009) is going to be a late one...Having moved from the Okanagan to Prince George the ice comes off later than in the south. However this year we all are waiting...My calls have been made for my yearly trip to Hwy 24. I spend a week touring around my favorite holes looking for hungry bows!
I will get the alert and off I will go......Irish Lake is always my first stop...I set up for a 2 or 3 day stay and roam between Irish and Fawn.....And of course the the high country sunsets...as good as the fishing!
